I must be making some progress. I can already check off some of those but there is work left to do. How about you? If you have lost a loved one, how are you doing? Just realize that it is the toughest thing you will ever go through and give yourself time to heal.

I expect you had two grieving periods during your loss of Elbert. You are right...it takes time. You seem to be working through yours with such grace. That is a good article that seems appropriate for our Hospice Program as well.
I went to a counselor and a grief support group when my first husband died over twenty years ago. Both were very helpful. But grief comes in waves--some progress and then some tears, more progress and more tears. It's great to have someone to talk to about the process.
Hugs,
Carol
I'm sure you are helping many people with your posts. Your words are really touching and inspiring, and people who are grieving the loss of a loved one can relate. Wishing you well, and lots of positive things coming your way this year.
These are good! Glad you get that newsletter. I know this will be helpful to actually see the progress you have made in black and white.
Thanks for the suggestion about posting the Canyon Hike Mom and for sending those pics! Enjoyed your comment, too.
One step at a time. Keeping you always in my thought and prayers.
Hugs,
