Veterans Day

I wanted to share with you a bit of our Veterans Day. Shirley and I went on Saturday and found the graves with flags waving in the breeze. It was such an awesome sight and such a peaceful scene. Here are a few pictures of our visit with Elbert and all the others buried at A.G. Horton Veterans Cemetery.

Daughter Shirley drew a heart in the sand with WB on it.

You know, I didn't go to one Cemetery on Veteran's Day. Your loves resting place is truly that - a place of rest. It's beautiful
too - symmetrical like. May your evening be blessed.

Such beautiful photos, Mom, of the Cemetery on that important day. I know it meant a lot getting to go there then. The flags are so emotion-stirring, so meaningful! Sweet of Shirley to make the heart in the sand. We all love and miss him so much!
