THE JOURNEY HAS COME TO AN END

Elbert has finally regained his wonderful spirit, mind and body... at 9:50 this morning. I know he's so happy to be rid of forgetting things, not knowing who people were and being stuck in that ole wheelchair. He's finally in the arms of Jesus, smiling down on us.  Oh, how we all will miss him but a peace is in our hearts tonight in the knowledge that he is no longer suffering.

Oh my, Latane. Yes he has his mind and healed body and is with Jesus. Sweet words of acceptance you wrote, but I know you have been grieving all along and will continue to miss him. You have been an awesome helpmate to him and a strong example to those who must walk the same path.

Tears and hugs,
Carol

You and Elbert have been so strong on my mind and heart for the past 2 weeks......now I know why.

We NEVER want our loved one to have this awful disease... to watch them slowly disappear before our eyes, it breaks our heart.

I PRAISE GOD that Elbert is whole again.....
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers!
Love,
Dolores

With tears, I want to tell you how sorry I am. Elbert was a fine man. Now, he is with our Lord God and is healed....and happy.

You have been a steadfast, wonderful wife...who has shown faithfulness, loyalty and love. You are an amazing woman. I admire you so much.

Please accept my sympathy for you and your whole family.

Love,
Susannah
